Still photo as memory - JF Merifield

to sit by small songs of wind

air tonight persists

abandoned

names picture a ghost no longer

photographed doubts develop

into this breath recollection a ledge walk

the path

tries to divide the sky

but its slow trail fades

is but an impression

lost

in wisps

of clouds a slow dissolve
