Flower Car - Kenneth Pobo

The trellis against the shed

held several enormous blue

passion flower blossoms.

In September the vine

stopped blooming. How grim

when flowers quit on me, cars

that die at a red light. It turns

green and there I sit,

cursing the car,

cursing everything.
