The mining of social data nodes. Finding some way, through a technology I cannot yet imagine, to delve into the records of social media accounts of those who have no living friends or followers, and from there to find and map the closed ecosystem of social circles, year by year, era by era, generation by generation until, by some break in the chain, you find a breaking point, from which none of a new generation would connect with the old. Perhaps, in times after the bones of a world could tell its story, this is how humans will mark the changing epochs.
