It is a truth universally acknowledged
that spiders are unaware that the hair
on their snap apple legs is there
you could hardly call them limbs at all
they’re not nearly strong enough
and the spider dear reader
is in want of a shaven shriven wife
Hear now a truth
an arachnid cannot feel hair on him
they’re not nearly tough enough
and the arachnid dear listener
could have a forgiven wife with no hair
and be happy.
